Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s Pilates is a unique form of body conditioning which strengthens, tones and lengthens the body whilst concentrating and challenging the mind. It targets the deep stability muscles which improve alignment, mobility, posture and general body imbalances. In Isobel’s Pilates class she targets the full mobility of joints, as well as controlled movement patterns in order to use your body to its best advantage, whether it be for work, sports, leisure and even your day-to-day activities.

Pilates will not just make you feel great, it can help you de-stress and change the way you see and feel about your body. Whether it is sittings at a desk all-day or undertaking strenuous day-to-day activities we all feel the aches and pains. Pilates is truly for everyone, men and women of all ages and abilities.
