Jos has been practising yoga for over 14 years and her practice deepened after the birth of her two children. Like many parents with small children she felt exhausted, mentally and physically – and yoga became her lifeline giving her the time to reflect, release tension and stop mind chatter. Yoga taught her how to be more present, patient, how to listen to her body, to breathe, and much more.
Jos teaches mindful Vinyasa Flow, with an emphasis on a strong, steady breath, and controlled conscious movement, challenging you to remain mentally engaged throughout your entire practise. She believes that restoring the mind-body connection teaches us how to live a fulfilling, healthy, and happy life on and off the yoga mat.
Jos qualified with Yoga London in 2014 (200RTY). She continues to study, taking further Apprentice Modules, leading yoga trainees through classes and delivering workshops as a part of their foundation studies. She has also trained with Nadia Narain at Triyoga qualifying to teach Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga, and with Judith Hanson Lasater to teach Restorative Yoga.
Jos is one of our highly popular pregnancy teachers, heading up our Saturday morning slot. She teaches and covers strong flow classes and will be launching a new post-natal class soon
