Everyone knows what we mean by the January blues – the excitement of Christmas is over, the weather is bleak and the over-indulgences of ‘party-season’ are weighing heavily on our Cava-soaked memories. It’s back to reality with a crash and no one can blame us for not having a spring in our step. Thankfully, the science of happiness is here to help.
We are super excited to be working with Positive psychologist and coach, Nikki Hughes, to bring you this special two-hour workshop session, developed specifically to help equip you to bat away those blues and leave you feeling uplifted, empowered and ready to take 2019 by the horns.
Nikki will introduce you to the fundamentals of positive psychology, share powerful learnings from the science, and facilitate you in a selection of positive psychology exercises which have been proven to improve happiness and wellbeing. Exercises are taught so that they can be repeated at home and time is allocated for questions and reflections, so that the benefits of the session can stretch way beyond the workshop itself.

Nikki has been studying, researching and promoting the importance of happiness since 2012. She has a masters in applied positive psychology and coaching psychology form the University of East London and recently had her research on the use of smartphones in relation to happiness published in the Journal of Computers in Human Behavior. She offers one-on-one coaching, as well as delivering workshops and keynote presentations on positive psychology, happiness and wellbeing.
